The Assistant Undersecretary of Al-Hodeida province for Northern Directorates Affairs, Ghaleb Hamza, inaugurated on Tuesday the plan for the construction of the main road network in the neighboring units of Al-Khoba coastal city project in Al-Lahiya district.
During the inauguration, Deputy Undersecretary Hamza listened to an explanation of the general structural plan of Al-Khoba city with an area estimated at more than 144,000 meters, equivalent to three thousand meters, from the deputy head of the Works Sector in the province, Engineer Fadel Al-Qadimi, and the Director of Planning in the Land Authority Branch, Engineer Ali Al-Akhsab.
The deputy governor praised the project and its importance for the city of Al-Khoba, which is the center of Al-Lahiya district and boasts a distinguished tourist and investment location on the Red Sea coast, maritime assets , commercial activity, being a center for fishing , pearl extraction, other promising features and opportunities.
Engineer Al-Qadimi considered the start of construction of the main streets of the planned residential city an important step in the course of the project, and in anticipation of any work in order to address any potential issues in the implementation of plans and service aspects.
