Ramallah - Saba:
The Palestinian Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club has said that Gaza detainees gave testimonies revealing more details about the atrocities committed by the occupation army against them, specifically during their arrest, and later after their transfer to the Zionist enemy's camps and prisons.
This comes after more than a year has passed since the war of extermination on the Gaza Strip and the continuation of its catastrophic effects, one of which is the crimes that were and are still being committed against detainees.
The Prisoners' Affairs Authority and the Prisoners' Club clarified, in a statement today, Wednesday, that these testimonies are part of dozens of testimonies and statements that the institutions obtained through visits that were made to many Gaza detainees over the past period, and recently 18 detainees from Gaza were visited in the Negev prison and the (Sde Teiman) camp, one of whom confirmed that his hands were broken and he was abused while he was tied up.
The statement reiterated that the level of crimes and violations reflected in the testimonies has not changed, but rather remains at the same level, which doubles the level of danger to the fate of thousands of detainees, especially with the passage of more time since they face the same level of crimes and detention conditions, and that many of the detainees in Gaza still do not know anything about the fate of their families, after a year or more since their arrest.
It explained that torture crimes still dominate the impact of the detainees' testimonies, and even the crimes of starvation, and humiliation in all its forms, in addition to the harsh detention conditions that are based on policies of theft and deprivation.
