The educational sector, represented by the Department of School Activities in Taiz Governorate, honored today the winners of the first three places in the second local competition for the "Genius Student" mental arithmetic training program.
During the honoring, the official of the educational sector in Taiz, Abdul Jalil Al-Samai, explained that the number of participants in the competition reached 200 male and female students representing 20 schools in the governorate's directorates.. pointing out the importance of the program in discovering students' talents and developing their abilities.
In the ceremony, which was attended by the deputy official of the educational sector, Abdul Hadi Al-Sarouri, and Abdul Hakim Al-Salawi, the director of school activities in the governorate, Muhammad Al-Abbadi, urged parents to encourage their children to participate in such programs because of their importance in developing their mental abilities.
At the end of the ceremony, the winner of first place, student Mutia Fahd Naji, was honored, the student Hiyam Muhammad Abdul Razzaq, the winner of second place, and the student Anwar Abdul Hakim Ahmed, the winner of third place.
