Beirut - Saba:
The media office of the Lebanese presidency on Wednesday denied reports of an agreement between Lebanon and the Zionist enemy to extend the ceasefire until after Eid al-Fitr.
"President General Joseph Aoun has repeatedly emphasized Lebanon's insistence on the full withdrawal of the Zionist army within the deadline of February 18," the office said in a statement cited by the Lebanese National News Agency.
In a related context, the media office of Lebanese Parliament Speaker Nabih Berri denied "what Al-Hadath TV attributed to sources about an agreement between President Nabih Berri and Hezbollah to extend the ceasefire for a second time."
He emphasized in a statement that this is "pure fabrication and completely false."
