The death toll from the Zionist aggression on the Gaza Strip rose Thursday to 48,239 martyrs, and 111,676 wounded, most of them children and women, since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
According to the Palestinian News Agency (WAFA), medical sources announced that 17 martyrs (14 of whom were recovered, and three new martyrs), and two injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
It pointed out that a number of victims are still under the rubble, and ambulance and civil defense crews cannot reach them.
It is noteworthy that the ceasefire in the Gaza Strip entered into force on January 19, and since its entry into force, a number of citizens have been martyred and wounded in various parts of the Strip.
