The body of Sheikh General Yahya bin Abdullah al-Athari was laid on Thursday to rest in Arhab district in Sana'a province , after a life of political and tribal service.
During the funeral, which was attended by a large number of sheikhs from Arhab, Hashid, Bakil, Mudhaj and a number of officials and state officials, the mourners praised the roles of the deceased and his honorable national positions in various stages, as well as his political roles; the deceased held a number of political positions, most notably his appointment as the first governor of Amran province after its establishment at that time.
They asked Allah, the Almighty, to grant him mercy , forgiveness, to grant his family , relatives patience and solace.
The body of the deceased was buried in his hometown in the village of Beit Al-Athari in the area of Shaab in Arhab district, after prayers at the village mosque.
