The Lebanese Civil Defense announced last night that the bodies of 23 martyrs were recovered in towns in the south of the country, after the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy army according to the ceasefire agreement.
The Civil Defense stated in a statement that "rescue teams continue, in full coordination with the Lebanese army, search operations and comprehensive field survey in the areas that were exposed to the Zionist aggression."
It explained that "on Tuesday, the bodies of 14 martyrs were recovered in the town of Mays al-Jabal, three in the town of Markaba, three in the town of Kfar Kila, in addition to three in the town of Adaisseh" in the south of the country.
It stated that the bodies will undergo the necessary medical and legal examinations, including DNA tests, under the supervision of the competent authorities to determine the identities of the martyrs.
He pointed out that his ambulance teams also worked to "transfer a wounded person from the town of Mays al-Jabal to the Tebnin Governmental Hospital who was injured as a result of being shot by the enemy without specifying the time of his injury.
Earlier on Tuesday, the official Lebanese News Agency reported that the Zionist enemy army had withdrawn from the villages and towns it occupied in southern Lebanon during the last war, but it is still stationed at five points inside Lebanese territory along the border line.
