Teams qualified for Champions League 16th round get prepared

The matches of the round of 16 play-offs of the Champions League concluded yesterday evening in its new system, bringing the number of teams qualified for the round of 16 to 16 teams.

Eight teams advanced from the play-off stage to join the eight teams that qualified directly for the round of 16 of the Champions League, to clarify the features of the round of 16.

Where the clubs Feyenoord of the Netherlands, Club Brugge of Belgium, Benfica of Portugal, Bayern Munich of Germany, Borussia Dortmund of Germany, Paris Saint-Germain of France, Real Madrid of Spain, and Eindhoven of the Netherlands reserved their seats in the round of 16 through the matches of the round of 16 play-offs.

Real Madrid qualified for the Champions League Round of 16 at the expense of Manchester City with a score of 6-3 on aggregate.

Paris Saint-Germain secured a ticket to the Champions League Round of 16 after beating Stade Brest 7-0, making the aggregate score 10-0 in the first and second legs.

Borussia Dortmund benefited from their 3-0 win in the first leg against Sporting Lisbon at home before drawing 0-0 in the second leg, to qualify for the Champions League Round of 16.

Bayern Munich secured their qualification at the expense of their Scottish rival Celtic with a fatal 1-1 draw at the Allianz Arena, after the Bavarian team won the first leg 2-1.

Benfica spoiled Monaco's comeback with a fatal 3-3 draw in the second leg, to qualify 4-3 on aggregate, benefiting from their 1-0 win in the first leg at Monaco's home ground.

Club Brugge advanced to the Champions League round of 16 at the expense of Atalanta with a 5-2 aggregate win, after winning the second leg 3-1 and the first leg 2-1.

Feyenoord secured qualification to the Champions League round of 16 from Milan with a 2-1 aggregate win, benefiting from a 1-0 win in the first leg to draw 1-1 in the second leg.

PSV Eindhoven snatched qualification to the Champions League round of 16 at the expense of Juventus with a 4-3 aggregate win, after Juventus squandered a 2-1 win in the first leg to exit the competition.
