Handing over two water projects in Al-Nadirah and Al-Saddah districts in Ibb Governorate

The General Authority for Rural Water Projects branch in Ibb Governorate received today two water projects in Al-Nadira and Al-Saddah districts, funded by the International Organization for Migration at $127,000.

The two projects included the rehabilitation and installation of two solar energy systems, the restoration of the water tank and pumping rooms in the Al-Nadira district center water project, which will benefit 16,000 people, and the construction of a collection tank with a capacity of 100 cubic meters and flow and distribution lines for the Al-Amas water project to which benefit 6,000 people.

The director of the authority's branch in the governorate, Majed Al-Shami, stressed the importance of these projects in alleviating the suffering of citizens affected by the repercussions of the aggression and siege, noting that they fall within the authority's interim plan 1444-1447 AH, in line with the national vision and the directives of the leader of the revolution and the President of the Supreme Political Council.

He also stressed the need to reduce the price of the water unit according to the authority's standards, appreciating the contributions of the International Organization for Migration, and calling for preserving the components of the two projects to ensure their continuity. For their part, the directors of Al-Nadirah and Al-Saddah praised the Authority’s efforts in securing funding for water projects, stressing that the two directorates have witnessed the implementation of several projects in the recent period.
