Assistant Undersecretary of Hodeida province for Eastern districts Affairs Amer Muthanna on Saturday inspected Wadi al-Khamis village water project and other service facilities in Bura'a district to assess their needs and rehabilitation requirements.
A primary focus was Wadi al-Khamis village water project, which has been non-functional for 20 years.
Undersecretary Muthanna directed the Rural Water Projects Authority to expedite its rehabilitation and restore water access for residents, emphasizing its priority in alleviating citizen suffering.
The inspection also included reviewing the maintenance needs of various service facilities. Muthanna urged local residents to contribute to building a health unit and restoring the school, highlighting education and health as essential pillars of development.
