Sana'a - Saba:
The Yemen General Organization for Radio and Television and Yemen Media Channel mourned Issa Atef, Director of Media in Saada Governorate and correspondent of Yemen TV, who died following an unfortunate shooting incident.
The Foundation praised his media career, as he was one of the most prominent Yemeni media professionals, and contributed to confronting the Saudi- and American-led coalition through his coverage of events in Saada. He also played a prominent role in exposing crimes in Yemen, in addition to his media support for the Palestinian resistance.
The statement stressed the "gentleness and humility of the morals of the deceased", calling security services to "uncover the circumstances of the incident", which occurred due to a land dispute, and take the necessary measures.
The Foundation extended its "deepest condolences" to his family, colleagues and the media.
