Lebanese President Joseph Aoun stressed that stability in the south and along the border requires the withdrawal of the Zionist enemy from the hills where it was stationed, and the return of Lebanese prisoners.
The Lebanese president said, in remarks on Saturday during his meeting with the senator from the US state of Texas
Ronnie Jackson said that the Lebanese army has deployed in the villages and towns from which the Zionist entity withdrew, and is ready to be stationed along the border, pointing out that cooperation is well established with the international forces operating in the south to implement Security Council resolution 1701 and what was stated in the agreement reached on November 27.
Aoun pointed out that the Zionist entity, by continuing its occupation of the hills, violated the agreement, calling on the countries sponsoring it, especially the United States of America, to pressure the enemy entity to fully abide by the agreement, stressing that the Lebanese army is carrying out its duties in full and in coordination with the "UNIFIL" forces.
