The North Sanaa Appeals Prosecution released 569 prisoners, on the occasion of the blessed month of Ramadan.
The head of the prosecution, Judge Ahmed Abu Mansir, told the Yemeni News Agency (SABA) that 252 prisoners who have served three-quarters of their sentences are released and 317 prisoners are on bail in cases under investigation that do not pose a danger to society.
He pointed out that these procedures - ongoing - took place during the field visit, which began at the beginning of Shaaban, to inspect pretrial prisons, police detention centers, and reservations of primary prosecutions.
