The foreign ministers of Norway and Spain, during the meeting of foreign ministers of the Group of Twenty in Johannesburg, confirmed their countries' rejection of former US President Donald Trump's plan on the displacement of Palestinians from the Gaza Strip.
The Norwegian Foreign Minister expressed concern about any attempts to deport the Palestinians, considering this a violation of international law, and stressing the importance of ensuring the independence of their state and the reconstruction of the Gaza Strip at the material and political levels.
For his part, the Spanish Foreign Minister stressed that Gaza is Palestinian territory, and that his country supports the Palestinians remaining in it, while providing humanitarian aid and participating in reconstruction efforts to ensure that life returns to normal as soon as possible.
