Beirut - Saba:
Since the early morning hours, the streets of Beirut began to witness a massive influx of delegations that came from all over Lebanon, laden with feelings of loyalty and gratitude, to record another day of sacrifice and pride.
Camille Chamoun Sports City was filled with tens of thousands of fans of Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah , who came to participate in the funeral of two symbols of the resistance, the martyrs Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, who were martyred in treacherous Zionist raids during the aggression on Lebanon.
In the midst of these sad moments, which were overwhelmed by pain and overwhelming emotions, the participants carried Hezbollah and Lebanese flags, proudly raised, along with pictures of the two martyrs who left their mark on the history of the resistance.
Their picture was not just a memory, but a flame of hope and light, from which radiated determination and insistence to continue on the path they chose, which is the path of resistance and struggle against injustice.
While the voices of grief rose, there were also voices repeating that the martyrdom of Sayyed Nasrallah and Sayyed Safieddine is not the end, but rather the beginning of a new phase, more determined to achieve victory and move forward on the path to liberating the land and dignity.
The roads leading to the Sports City were filled with crowds of people who flocked from every corner of Lebanon, old and young, women and children, answering the call of loyalty and the pledge they made to the martyrs and the cause. Despite the challenges they faced, from threats from enemies to harsh weather conditions, their will was stronger than any obstacle. The road to the Sports City was a real test of the level of loyalty and devotion, and the crowds expressed their firm determination to continue on the path of resistance, no matter the sacrifices.
This funeral, the largest and most grandiose in Lebanon’s history, will remain etched in the memory of future generations as a milestone in the journey of pride and loyalty. Every step along the way, every moment of the ceremony, embodies a new era that does not end with martyrdom, but always remains alive in hearts and minds.
The climax of this historic event is expected to be at 1:00 p.m., when the funeral ceremony will begin with a speech by Hezbollah Secretary-General Sheikh Naim Qassem.
Al-Manar TV said: Since yesterday, crowds have been flocking from different Lebanese regions to Beirut, in a scene that reflects their national unity and solidarity, as distance was not an obstacle for them. Many citizens walked the distance, defying the heavy rains, defying all circumstances, just to stand in the ranks of honor and loyalty.
The ceremony was also attended by a distinguished number of foreign delegations, headed by a high-level Iranian delegation headed by Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi , in addition to political and popular figures from Lebanon and the Arab world. The positions were raised, confirming that the cause for which the two martyrs fought is the cause of all free people in the world, and that their struggle for justice and dignity will continue.
Beirut International Airport had its share of this major event, as it witnessed a heavy movement of people coming from all over the world, to express their solidarity with the Lebanese people and their deep appreciation for the sacrifices of the two martyrs. They came to confirm that the positions of the two martyrs in defending just causes, foremost among which is the Palestinian cause, will remain immortal, and will inspire future generations in their journey for the freedom of the land and the people.
In the midst of this event, the surroundings of the sports city are witnessing a wide security alert, as units of the Lebanese army and internal security forces have been deployed to ensure the safety of the participants, while Hezbollah has taken strict security measures in the areas surrounding the funeral site.
All roads leading to the sports city were filled with popular marches including women, children, men and the elderly, carrying pictures of the martyrs and speeches by Sayyed Nasrallah . Huge screens were also hung on most of the roads leading to the sports city so that participants on the roads could follow the funeral ceremonies.
