Community initiatives inspect field visit to roads in Bani Matar district

Sana'a - Saba:

Representative of the Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit in Sana'a province Eng. Osama al-Shami, accompanied by the Director of Bani Matar district Yahya al-Qanous, inspected on Sunday the progress of work on the project to survey, expand and pave the Martyr Abu Aqil al-Matari Road in the district.

During the visit, the representative of the Interventions Unit explained that the project, which is being implemented by a community initiative and with the support of the Interventions Unit, is 4.2 kilometers long and four meters wide.

He praised the level of achievement in the project, and adherence to the approved standards and specifications to ensure sustainability in serving development in the district, noting that the Interventions Unit's support for these projects comes within the framework of the leadership's directives to support community initiative projects in areas deprived of service projects.

Al-Shami called on citizens to take the initiative to adopt projects that contribute to enhancing services and alleviating the suffering of the people, stressing the unit's keenness to provide what is necessary to make community initiatives in the province successful.

While the director of the district pointed out the importance of the project that serves many villages in the district and contributes to delivering services to the beneficiary areas.

In addition, al-Shami and al-Qanous were briefed on a number of projects supported by the Interventions Unit within the program to support community initiatives in the field of roads in the district.
