Moscow - Saba:
The Russian Defense Ministry announced today, Monday, that its air defense systems destroyed 22 Ukrainian drones last night.
The ministry said in a statement, "The air defense systems on duty destroyed 22 Ukrainian drones, 16 drones over the territory of Oryol province, three drones over the territory of Bryansk province, and two drones over the territory of Ryazan province."
The statement indicated that the Russian air defenses destroyed "one drone over the territory of the Republic of Crimea."
The Kiev regime is using terrorist methods, primarily the use of attack drones and artillery shelling against civilians and civilian facilities in Russia, in an attempt to divert attention from the failure of what it calls the "counterattack", which it had announced in June 2023.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces target, almost daily, the Russian border areas in the Republic of Crimea and the Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Voronezh regions, with drones and missiles, with the aim of sowing terror among civilians.
In turn, the Russian forces continue to carry out their special military operation, with the aim of disarming Ukraine, eliminating threats directed through it to Russia's security, and protecting civilians in the Donbas region, who have been persecuted by the Kiev regime for years.
