Tehran - Saba:
The magnificent and enthusiastic funeral of martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din in Beirut has proved that Hezbollah is still alive, and that the spirit of resistance runs in the veins of free peoples around the world, the Iranian Revolutionary Guards said Monday in a statement.
Tasnim International News Agency quoted the Revolutionary Guards as saying that the magnificent and amazing ceremonies to bid farewell to the two mujahid leaders of the Lebanese resistance, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Sayyed Hashem Safi al-Din, witnessed a huge and million-strong public participation from different peoples, races and affiliations.
The statement pointed out that this funeral, which took place amidst the provocative and humiliating flights of "Israeli" warplanes in the skies of Beirut, and despite the threats, came contrary to the aspirations and hopes of the enemies of the Islamic nation, to become a manifestation of the power of Islam, a symbol of comprehensive national unity in Lebanon, and a global voice for the anti-Zionist resistance.
The statement added that this historic funeral, unprecedented in the Islamic world, stresses that the strong and courageous Hezbollah is still vibrant, and that the resistance continues in the veins of free peoples.
It also stressed that the Islamic nation and the great axis of resistance will continue their march towards removing the occupation from the holy city of Jerusalem and liberating the Islamic lands, in light of the ongoing revolutionary spirit.
The statement indicated that the martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, the steadfast leader and mujahid, will remain the compass that guides this march towards achieving the goal of liberating Jerusalem.
The statement also expressed its appreciation for the memory and sacrifices of the late leader, praising the large public presence from different countries, religions, sects and political parties at the funeral ceremony.
It considered this a new era with the approach of resistance, and a strong message to the enemies of the axis of resistance.
At the end of the statement, the Revolutionary Guards issued a warning to the leaders of the Zionist entity, describing them as "criminals, murderers, and racist terrorists of the modern era." And that they will not be able to escape the inevitable fate that awaits them.
It added that the world will soon witness the purification of the region from their evil presence, under the feet of those who continue the path of the martyrs Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, Yahya Sinwar, and Qassem Soleimani.
