A joint meeting between the Ministry of Administration and Local and Rural Development's assigned on Monday committee and the Public Works Sector in Sana'a province was held, chaired by governor Abdulbasit al-Hadi, to assess service delivery and procedural efficiency.
The meeting focused on evaluating the level of services provided by the Public Works Sector and its district branches to citizens and identifying areas for improvement.
Governor al-Hadi stressed the importance of developing an integrated project to enhance development and citizen satisfaction. He urged cooperation with the committee in its tasks and pledged the local authority's support in overcoming challenges faced by the Public Works Sector.
Head of the housing sector at the Ministry of Transport and Public Works Engineer Qasim Atef outlined the committee's tasks, which include ensuring the integrity of procedures and addressing workflow challenges.
He explained that the committee will examine financial, administrative, and technical aspects, with a focus on simplifying procedures, particularly for building permits and facilities management.
The meeting resulted in the formation of a local committee, headed by the Province's Deputy for Technical Affairs, to assist the ministerial committee in its tasks.
