Geneva - Saba:
The World Health Organization (WHO)
On Tuesday, the World Health Organization (WHO) expressed its "grave concern" about the escalation of Zionist aggression against the health system in the occupied West Bank.
"We see a stark escalation of violence and attacks at the moment on the health care sector in the West Bank," said the organization's representative in the occupied Palestinian territories, Rick Peppercorn, during a remote press conference from Gaza.
Since October 7, 2023, the WHO has recorded 694 attacks on healthcare, with hospitals and healthcare facilities often under siege by Israeli forces.
