The General Administration of Facilities Guard and VIP Protection Police conducted a display on Tuesday to launch their Ramadan security plan and unveil their new military uniform.
The event, attended by high-ranking military and security officials, including Deputy Prime Minister for Defense and Security Affairs Lieutenant General Jalal al-Ruwaishan, Minister of Defense Major General Mohammed al-Atifi, and Deputy Minister of Interior Major General Abdulmajeed al-Murtada, showcased security skills in protecting individuals, weapons handling, and martial arts.
Lieutenant General al-Ruwaishan emphasized the importance of spiritual preparation for Ramadan, urging adherence to acts of worship and utilizing the month for "jihad, work, sacrifice, giving, and charity." He stressed the significance of attending lectures by Sayyed Leader Abdulmalik Badr al-Din al-Houthi and engaging with the Quran for spiritual purification.
He congratulated the leadership and the Yemeni people on the advent of Ramadan and pledged that the defense and security institutions would remain loyal to the leadership, steadfast in their support for Palestine, and committed to military and security readiness.
Al-Ruwaishan praised the Ministry of Interior's efforts in developing the capabilities of security units and commended the qualitative development of the Facilities Guard and VIP Protection Police.
Brigadier General Ahmed al-Banous, Director of the General Administration, stated that the new military uniform aims to provide security personnel with a dignified appearance while adhering to quality standards.
