The World Health Organization announced that the value of the damage to the health sector in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank since the beginning of the Zionist aggression in October 2023 has exceeded $7 billion, divided between reconstruction costs and service provision requirements.
The organization's official website quoted the representative of the World Health Organization in the occupied Palestinian territories, Rick Peeperkorn, as saying that 772 health facilities were completely or partially destroyed, representing 95 percent of hospitals, 91 percent of private health facilities, and 88 percent of public health centers, in addition to pharmacies and clinics.
