Tehran - Saba:
Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov announced that Russia will allocate an external loan to finance the construction of the Rasht-Astara railway line in Iran, as part of the North-South International Transport Corridor project.
Lavrov added that the construction process will begin soon, and that this project is of great importance for connecting Iran to the world via this corridor.
The project, which includes the construction of a section of the railway between the cities of Rasht and Astara in northwestern Iran, aims to facilitate transportation between Russia and India via Iran.
