Gaza - Saba:
The Islamic Resistance Movement "Hamas" confirmed Wednesday that it was not offered any proposal regarding the second phase of the prisoner exchange agreement "despite its readiness for it," indicating its keenness to move forward with it to complete all stages of the agreement.
Spokesman for the "Hamas" movement Abdullatif al-Qanou said in a statement that "the release of the seventh batch of prisoners will be in conjunction with the resistance handing over the Zionist bodies, and the corresponding women and children, and with a new mechanism that guarantees the occupation's commitment to implementation, and the date of the exchange process will be announced at the appropriate time."
He explained that "the Egyptian mediators guaranteed this and we are committed to them and keen to complete the agreement and oblige the occupation to it," stressing that "no proposal regarding the second phase was offered to the movement despite our readiness for it and our keenness to move forward with it to complete all stages of the agreement."
