[26/ February/2025]
Mahweet - Saba:

The Yemeni Red Crescent Society’s branch in Mahweet launched a free mobile medical clinic on Wednesday, aimed at providing essential healthcare services to remote areas in Jabal Mahweet and Bani Saad districts. This initiative is supported by the Norwegian Red Cross.

The clinic will operate for 14 days and is designed to serve areas lacking fixed healthcare facilities. It will focus on providing primary health care to residents in need, alleviating some of the suffering caused by limited access to medical services.

Murshid Al-Ali, the head of the branch, noted that the clinic will target areas with the most urgent healthcare needs, including Sare', al-Majadeel, Bani al-Walid, and Wadi al-Ashar in Jabal Mahweet, as well as Bani al-Hammadi and Bani al-Shuwaishi in Bani Saad district.

Al-Ali expressed gratitude for the support of the Norwegian Red Cross, praised the efforts of the field medical team, and thanked the local authority in the province for its cooperation in facilitating the clinic’s operations.
