Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on Wednesday refused to recognize any debts owed to America, stressing that Ukraine will not return even a dime in debt.
This came after statements by US President Donald Trump, who announced that Zelensky will visit Washington next Friday to sign a major agreement on rare earths.
Earlier, Trump said that the metals deal with Ukraine could be worth $1 trillion.
He also confirmed that Kiev agreed to the new terms of the agreement, which do not include security guarantees from the United States to Ukraine, despite Kiev’s previous demands.
