Heavy rains and floods that hit Afghanistan in the past two days have killed at least 36 people, including children, and injured 40 others.
Russia Today quoted the spokesman for the National Disaster Management Authority in Afghanistan, Janan Saiq, as saying that the floods completely destroyed more than 300 homes, in addition to causing severe damage to agricultural lands.
