The Health and Environment Office in Taiz Governorate on Thursday provided the Tuberculosis Control Unit at al-Wahda Maternity and Childhood Hospital in Sala District with an X-ray machine, at a cost of 25 million riyals; with support from the Ministry of Health and Environment (National Tuberculosis Control Program).
The Director of the Health and Environment Office in the Governorate, Dr. Abdulmalik Al-Mutawakil, pointed out the keenness of the Ministry of Health and Environment and the Tuberculosis Control Program in the Ministry, and the follow-up of the local authority in the governorate, on the continuous support of the health sector in the hospitals of the governorate's directorates.
He praised the efforts made to provide health services to patients and alleviate their suffering, as a result of the continued aggression and siege.
