The Traffic Police launched on Sunday a project to distribute Iftar meals and dinner to its members in the Capital Secretariat, Sana'a province, traffic police, road traffic police, and drivers as part of its Ihsan campaign.
The traffic police also distributed 700 Iftar and dinner meals to the security of the Capital Secretariat, security zones and police stations affiliated to it.
The project, which will continue during Ramadan, aims to distribute 15,000 Iftar meals to drivers , road users in streets, tours and crossroads, with the aim of reducing traffic accidents that occur before Iftar due to excessive speed.
He pointed out that Iftar meals and dinners are distributed to traffic personnel in various streets and intersections who work during Iftar time. He pointed out that the tasks of traffic officers are one of the brightest forms of charity as they aim to serve the citizen by facilitating traffic and maintaining the safety of road users.
The Director of Traffic Police called on drivers and road users to cooperate with traffic officers and abide by traffic instructions in order to preserve the safety of all, wishing everyone good luck and safety.
