The Governor of Ibb, Abdul Wahid Salah, inaugurated the Al-Khair Mosque in the village of Dakhla Al-Masalma in the district of Kitab in Yarim, at a cost of 200 million riyals funded by a philanthropist.
The mosque consists of two chapels for men and women, in addition to restrooms and a Qur'an memorization school.
During the inauguration, Governor Salah appreciated the initiative and support of the benefactor to build this mosque, which represents a great need for the residents of the village and its surroundings.
Ibb governor also inaugurated the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in Hazib district in Al-Nadir district, at a cost of 50 million riyals funded by philanthropists.
He inaugurated the solar energy project for pumping water for the Green Al-Qarda area in Al-Nadirah district, at a cost of $80,000 funded by the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
The project will benefit more than 25,000 people in the center of Al-Nadirah district and neighboring villages.
In addition, Governor Salah inaugurated the pedestrian bridge in Wadi Bana, which connects the isolated areas of Al Muftah and Huraib, at a cost of 50 million riyals, funded by a local resident.
During the inauguration of the projects, Governor Salah expressed his deep appreciation to the philanthropists who contributed to supporting these important projects, which represent an urgent need for many people in the region.
He called on businessmen and wealthy people to seize the nights of this holy month by giving to the children of martyrs, the wounded and the poor.
For his part, Abdul Jalil Al-Shami, director of Al-Nadirah district, praised the support provided by philanthropists for these projects, stressing that the people of the district are active in establishing community initiatives projects, the number of which has reached more than 197 initiatives over the past three years.
