Three people were injured in a shooting at a shopping center in Mytishchi on the outskirts of the Russian capital Moscow, and the suspect has been detained.
The TASS news agency reported, citing the press office of the General Directorate of the Interior Ministry of Moscow Oblast: "The duty unit of the Russian Interior Ministry received a voice message resembling the sound of a gunshot in one of the shopping centers located on Sharapovsky Street."
It added: "Police officers immediately arrived at the scene. The suspect was detained. As a result of the incident, three citizens were injured."
Earlier, emergency services told TASS that they had conducted evacuations from the Krasny Kit shopping center due to the sound of gunshots.
