Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdel Ati said on Sunday that his country will continue its intensive efforts to start negotiations for the second phase of the ceasefire agreement in Gaza Strip.
"There is no alternative to full and faithful adherence to all the terms of the ceasefire agreement and the exchange of prisoners in Gaza," Abdel Ati said, according to Al-Mayadeen TV.
He revealed that Egypt has prepared a plan for the reconstruction of Gaza Strip, which will be presented at the emergency Arab summit, before being presented to any foreign party.
Regarding the use of aid as a weapon by Israel, the Egyptian foreign minister said that "the use of aid as a weapon of collective punishment and starvation in Gaza cannot be accepted or allowed."
Today, the "Israeli" occupation government decided to stop the entry of humanitarian aid into Gaza Strip and close the crossings "until further notice," according to a statement issued by Netanyahu's office, which Hamas rejected and considered it a blatant coup against the agreement.
