The British government denied today, Monday, the existence of any agreement with France on the proposal of French President Emmanuel Macron regarding a partial truce for one month in Ukraine, which was announced yesterday, Sunday.
The British Minister of State for the Armed Forces, Luke Pollard, said in press statements: "No agreement has been reached on the form of the truce," adding that work with France and our European allies continues to explore the path of how to reach a lasting peace in Ukraine.
In the same context, a source in the British government who requested anonymity indicated that there are "many options on the table and are the subject of additional discussions with American and European partners, but no agreement has been reached on a one-month truce."
