Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Administration, Local and Rural Development Mohammed Al-Madani, along with Deputy Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Water Resources Ibrahim Hassan, inspected the activities and projects implemented by cooperative societies in Siham Valley .
During the visit, they, along with a number of undersecretaries of the Ministry of Administration, Local and Rural Development, listened to the directors of the directorates bordering Wadi Siham (Al-Hayma Al-Outer, Jabal Al-Sharq, Dhoran Anas, Bani Matar, and Balad Al-Rus) and the heads of the associations in these directorates, who explained the projects implemented by the associations in areas adjacent to the valley, including solar energy lending projects, contract farming, and community initiatives projects, among others.
The Deputy Prime Minister stressed the importance of unifying efforts and energies to exploit the available opportunities, pointing to the need to establish a development program in which all districts bordering the valley participate.
For his part, the Deputy Minister of Agriculture emphasized the need to diversify in the cultivation of crops and livestock breeding, as this has an impact on improving the economic situation of farmers.
Al-Madani and his accompanying team were briefed on the educational situation in Siham valley, and emphasized the need to pay attention to the educational process and make use of what is available and possible to achieve the main goal of building a generation armed with science and knowledge.
