Sana'a (Saba) - The General Authority of Zakat launched Ramadan charity projects for 1446 AH - 2025 AD worth more than 16 billion riyals on the occasion of the advent of the holy month of Ramadan.
The Ramadan charity projects included distributing cash zakat to 277,740 families according to the decentralized disbursement mechanism at a cost of five billion, 554 million, and 800 thousand riyals, and disbursing and distributing Zakat al-Fitr to 214,306 poor families with a total of four billion, 286 million, and 122 thousand riyals, and families unable to work for 42,954 families with an amount of two billion, 577 million, and 247 thousand riyals.
