Hajjah - Saba:
A campaign was launched on Tuesday in the center of Hajjah province to remove street vendors' stalls and random appearances and relocate them to designated areas.
The campaign, which is being carried out by the local council, the works sector in the district, and the Cleanliness and Traffic Fund, aims to relocate the stalls to designated markets and spaces, as well as remove dilapidated cars from both sides of the main streets outside the city. The goal is to reduce congestion and alleviate traffic jams.
District director Essam al-Wazzan and official of the works sector in the province center Abdulmuttalib al-Jarbani explained that the campaign is in line with the directives of the province leadership to reduce traffic congestion, preserve the city's aesthetic appearance, and ease the difficulties faced by citizens navigating the city.
They emphasized that the campaign takes into account the circumstances of the street vendors by allocating designated places for them in the city center. The campaign will continue until all street slums are removed from the city's streets.
