Tehran - Saba:
The head of the Committee for the Revival of the Uprising and World Quds Day, Brigadier General Ramadan Sharif, announced today, Tuesday, that this year's Quds Day ceremony will be held on March 28 (corresponding to Ramadan 27).
Tasnim International News Agency reported that Brigadier General Ramadan Sharif indicated that the necessary preparations are being made despite the short time to ensure wide public participation and an effective media campaign.
In a meeting of the Central Committee for the Revival of the Occasion, Sharif explained that World Quds Day is considered the second largest national event in Iran after the February rallies (anniversary of the victory of the Islamic Revolution), in which millions participate annually in support of the Palestinian cause.
He stressed that the resistance front is growing stronger, while the Zionist entity is facing a state of decline and collapse, noting that the approach of resistance and jihad has replaced sterile dialogues.
He added that the Palestinian people have chosen the path of resistance, and will never abandon their land and homeland, pointing out that the popular funeral of the martyrs of the resistance in Lebanon was a strong message to the world about the strength and organization of Hezbollah, which foiled the propaganda of the enemies.
