Al-Ahli Club in Sana'a, represented by the Cultural Committee, launched on Wednesday the Ramadan cultural activities and programs for the year 1446 AH.
The cultural program, in which more than 300 people participate, includes the Holy Qur'an competition for the categories of "the entire Qur'an, twenty parts, ten parts, in addition to the general competition, support for talents and amateurs, audience questions, chanting events and poetry competitions.
At the launch, Abdullah Obeid, director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Capital Secretariat, praised the role of the club in organizing various programs, including the cultural aspect, in a sign of the typicality of the Red Castle and the continuity of its giving.
For his part, club vice president Mohamed Salah stressed the importance of giving the cultural aspect the care and attention it deserves, as Al Ahli is an educational, cultural, social, sporting and humanitarian institution
At the inauguration, which was attended by club vice president Mohammed Rizk Al-Sarmi, club vice president Hamoud Al-Naqib , general secretary Mohammed Al-Yarimi,and the club's general supervisor and advisor to the cultural committee, Jamal Al-Hadrami, pointed out the importance of the Ramadan cultural program in highlighting, developing and refining the abilities of the participants.
