Sana'a - Saba:
The Capital Secretariat's Office of Economy, Industry, and Investment destroyed 200 tons of expired food products in January and February.
Majid Al-Sadah, Director of the Economy Office in the Secretariat, told the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) that the destruction process took place in the presence of a representative from the Public Prosecution for Industry and Trade.
He emphasized that the office is working to enhance market monitoring measures across all districts of the Secretariat, ensuring compliance with pricing and supply regulations.
Al-Sadah urged citizens to cooperate with the Office of Economy and Industry and its branches in the districts, and to report any commercial violations via the toll-free number 174. He affirmed that the office will not tolerate violators or those who manipulate citizens' essential goods.
