The Minister of Health and Environment, Dr. Ali Shaiban, opened a number of new departments at the Model Police Hospital in Sana'a, in addition to expanding some departments.
The openings included the Center for Diseases and Endoscopy of the Digestive System and Bile Ducts, the expansion of the dialysis department by adding 15 devices, and the women's residence department with a capacity of 38 beds, in addition to the expansion and restoration of the internal medicine department.
The Minister stressed the importance of these projects in improving health services, praising the efforts of medical personnel despite the challenges resulting from the aggression and siege.
The Director General of Projects at the Ministry of Interior also explained that these expansions come within the plans to develop medical services, stressing the opening of other projects soon.
For his part, the Director of the Hospital, Brigadier General Dr. Fahd Al-Madoumi, stressed the importance of the support provided by the Ministry of Interior to ensure the continuity of providing health care, noting that the new expansions will contribute to improving the quality of medical services provided to members of the Ministry of Interior and the families of martyrs and the wounded.
