The Merger Committee in Customs Authority discussed the progress of the work of the merger committee and the merger teams formed by the authority in its meeting on Sunday, chaired by the head of the authority, Engineer Adel Merghem.
The meeting, which was attended by a number of members of the Customs and Taxes Merger Committee, reviewed the preliminary reports submitted by the legal, financial, human and document teams, as well as the technical team on what has been accomplished during the past five days of forming the Merger teams at the Customs Authority.
Merghem stressed the importance of building the work of the merger teams according to the correct methodology in order to achieve the desired goals of the merger process.
For its part, the merger committee and the formed teams emphasized their keenness to exert efforts to complete the tasks , work assigned to them and submit them to the next meeting.
It pointed out that the size and importance of the work in the Customs Authority may require more time to complete the tasks of the working groups.
