The General Authority for the Care of the Families of Martyrs and Missing Persons began distributing cash for Eid clothing to the children of martyrs in governorates where in-person clothing exhibitions were not feasible.
The cash disbursement targets 16,005 children of martyrs in Hodeida, Dhale', Mahweet, Taiz, Raymah, Shabwa, Lahj, Marib, and parts of Bayda, Hajjah, Dhamar, Sa'ada, and Sana'a provinces, with a total cost of 480 million and 120 thousand Y.R.
The Authority confirmed that the payments were initiated via rapid transfers.
Previously, the Authority had launched in-kind Eid clothing exhibitions in Sana'a, Amran, and parts of Hajjah, Dhamar, Sa'ada, Sana'a, Jawf, and Bayda.
The total cost of both in-kind and cash Eid clothing for all children of martyrs and missing persons under the age of 19 is estimated at 1.4 billion riyals.
This Eid clothing initiative is part of the Authority's seasonal projects aimed at providing comprehensive support and care to the families of martyrs and missing persons, ensuring their basic needs are met.
