A meeting led by governor Abdullah Idris in Bayda province on Monday focused on the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund's plan and strategies to improve its operations.
The meeting reviewed a report by Abdulhafeedh al Maghribi, Director of the Cleanliness and Improvement Fund, which detailed the Fund's activities and tasks during the second quarter of the year, its needs, challenges, and the distribution of sanitation workers across the city's neighborhoods and streets.
The report also addressed strategies for increasing financial revenues to overcome existing challenges, the level of discipline among sanitation workers, and the necessary resources to enhance performance and improve the city's appearance.
Governor Idris emphasized the province's leadership's commitment to strengthening the Cleanliness Fund's role in improving sanitation, protecting the environment, and preventing waste accumulation.
He expressed appreciation for the Cleanliness Fund workers' dedication despite the challenging circumstances caused by the ongoing "aggression and siege."
