The Attorney General, Judge Abdul Salam Al-Houthi, visited a pretrial prison north of the Sanaa City of "Al-Mouallimi". There he was briefed on the conditions of the prisoners and listened to their complaints.
He directed the release of some of them who met the conditions for release, either by cutting three quarters of the sentence with good conduct, or by bail in non-serious cases.
He also stressed the need to expedite the disposal of cases and ensure the legal rights of prisoners, stressing the commitment of the Public Prosecution to protect rights and combat crime.
