The customs enforcement officers and security and intelligence personnel at the Nihm Customs Center, successfully thwarted an attempt to smuggle many banned communication devices and equipment, including Starlink devices.
The center’s director, Issa Qareh, and his deputy for customs enforcement affairs, Bakil Humailah, stated that the seizure was made at the passenger processing unit. The smuggled items were hidden inside the spare tire and the vehicle’s body of a Hilux truck.
They emphasized that the center remains committed to strictly enforcing regulations and preventing the entry of smuggled or unauthorized goods to safeguard the interests of the nation and its citizens.
