Bin Habtoor sends condolences on Sheikh Mehdhar death

Sana'a - Saba:

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Habtoor, sent a cable of condolences and sympathy on the passing of Sheikh Habib Abdulrahman Jaafar Al-Mehdhar, after a life filled with righteousness and giving in the service of the nation and society.

In the cable, which he sent to the deceased's brother, Sheikh Habib Muhammad Jaafar Al-Mehdhar, and his sons Salman, Ali, Muhammad, and Ammar, as well as all academics, intellectuals, and Sufi scholars in Aden, Shabwa, the country, and abroad, the member praised the virtues of the deceased, who was considered one of the most prominent linguistic academics at the University of Aden, specifically in the College of Higher Education.

He also noted the deceased's advisory and cultural role, as he was one of the most prominent preachers in scientific, cultural, religious, and humanitarian forums, whose positive presence was evident. An influential figure at Aden University and TV, and throughout the city.

Dr. Bin Habtoor highlighted the late scholar's role in highlighting the activities of Aden University and its development process through his leadership of the university's media work for more than six years. He also highlighted the deceased's significant and effective contribution to collecting the works, writings, and efforts of the late scholar and thinker Ahmed bin Abdullah Kaiti Al-Mehdhar, founder of the Habban Association, and his scholarly legacy in the city of Habban in Shabwa. He also highlighted his research and intellectual works on the Sufi thought of the Prophet's family, may God's prayers and peace be upon him and his family.

He emphasized that with the passing of Al-Mehdhar, the nation has lost one of the most prominent Adeni and Shabwani national figures who stood with the blessed Yemeni unity and its noble national and humanitarian goals.

Dr. Bin Habtoor expressed his deepest condolences to the brother and sons of the deceased, as well as to all academics, intellectuals, and Sufi scholars. He asked God Almighty to bestow His mercy and forgiveness upon him, to grant him a place in Paradise, and to inspire his family, relatives, and students with patience and solace.
