The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 181 people were killed and martyred in various circumstances on March 12.
According to the Observatory, 15 citizens were killed in the town of Barmaya in Tartous Governorate, 34 citizens in the city of Baniyas in Tartous Governorate, one citizen in the town of Saqoubin in Latakia Governorate, five Christians in various areas of Latakia Governorate, 18 citizens in the city of Sanobar in Latakia Governorate, 62 citizens in the town of Rasafa in Hama Governorate, and 22 citizens in the town of Arza in Hama Governorate. All were executed by firing squad in a "field execution" by members of the Internal Defense and Security Forces affiliated with the Takfiri groups.
