Salfit - Saba:
Settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, bulldozed dozens of dunams of citizens' land in the Wadi al-Matwi area, which connects the city of Salfit and the town of Bruqin to the west, on Friday. The bulldozers' aim was to pave a new road leading to the pastoral settlement outpost of "al-Ras."

The Salfit Governorate reported, according to the Palestinian WAFA News Agency, that approximately 40 ancient olive trees were uprooted and large areas of land were bulldozed, owned by citizens Nafez Ayoub, Riyad, and Zuhair Zuhair.

Citizen Riyad Zuhair said that settlers uprooted approximately 20 ancient olive trees, between 50 and 60 years old, from the land he and his brother Zuhair own. Approximately 20 other olive trees owned by Nafez Ayoub were also uprooted.

It's worth noting that the Wadi al-Matwi area is a vital area that connects the city of Salfit to the western towns and constitutes a vital passageway for citizens. For some time now, it has been subjected to repeated attacks by settlers operating from the "al-Ras" settlement outpost, where farmers are prevented from accessing their lands, in addition to the harassment and threats of shepherds.
