Kiev - Saba:
Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced on Saturday the formation of a Ukrainian delegation tasked with communicating with international partners for peace talks.
According to a decree published on the official website of Zelensky's office, the delegation will be headed by the head of the office, Andrei Yermak, and will include his deputy Pavlo Balisa, Foreign Minister Andrei Sepia, and Defense Minister Rustam Amirov, with the possibility of expanding the squad as needed.
The same Ukrainian delegation participated in a meeting with U.S. diplomats in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on March 11. The meeting resulted in a joint statement confirming Ukraine's readiness to accept a 30-day ceasefire in exchange for the resumption of US intelligence and assistance to Kiev.
The parties also agreed to conclude an agreement for the extraction of critical mineral resources to boost the Ukrainian economy as soon as possible.
