The Central Emergency Development Interventions Unit, in partnership with local authorities and cooperative associations, has began distributing 1,500 bags of cement and 10,000 liters of diesel to support community initiative projects in al-Sha'ir and Ba'adan districts of Ibb province.
Ba'adan district director Mufaddal al-Jalal and al-Sha'ir district director Mohammed al-Shujaa commended the Interventions Unit's efforts in supporting community-driven initiatives, particularly in road construction, which aims to improve services and alleviate citizen suffering.
They highlighted the province's commitment to enhancing community participation in development projects across various sectors, including water, education, and roads.
Zain al-Abidin al-Nahmi, head of the disbursement team, affirmed the unit's continued support for new and existing projects, particularly in agriculture and road construction, emphasizing the importance of improving rural services.
He praised the cooperation between local authorities, cooperative societies, and community members in implementing development initiatives.
The distribution was attended by local officials and community committee members.
